About this role

<p>DHL Air Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK operating a fleet of B757-200 and B767-300 aircraft on worldwide operations. We are part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport in the UK. We are currently expanding our global reach and enhancing the team to deliver our customer promise of; Excellence, Simply Delivered.</p> <p>We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals with an avid interest in engineering to apply to join us as an aircraft maintenance apprentice.</p> <p>Over a 30 month period you will complete a fully approved EASA Pt 66 CAT A1 training course. The initial 8 month residential training is in conjunction with our training provider based at Humberside International Airport, Kirmington. Following this you will be training by working, hands-on, on our aircraft alongside our highly respected, skilled and knowledgeable maintenance and engineering teams at East Midlands Airport.</p> <p>On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved the ‘A1’ Aircraft Maintenance Licence. This will enable you to take full advantage of your new skills and knowledge by being one of a team certifying aircraft fit for flight with a approved maintenance organisation.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p>In order to join us you must be highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You will need the ability to use your own initiative and work well under pressure. Outstanding interpersonal, communication and team working skills are also essential.
