About this role

<p>On behalf of our client based in Ireland, Resource Group are currently seeking a <strong>Quality Manager </strong>to join their team on a permanent basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>As the <strong>Quality Manager</strong> you will be responsible ensuring that the maintenance and engineering activities are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory and company requirements, and that these activities are being carried out properly under the supervision of the relevant head of functional area.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee all quality assurance aspects of the Maintenance department  </li> <li>Ensure quality standards and procedures are developed and implemented according to company’s policies and EASA/IOSA requirements relating to maintenance of aircraft and equipment</li> <li>Process audits and internal quality audits</li> <li>Maintain the statistical process control within the Maintenance department</li> <li>Ensure the verification of proper completion of aircraft certification and inspection documentation</li> <li>Liaise within company and with regulatory and associated bodies to provide interpretation and guidance on current and proposed regulation</li> <li>Review logbooks and documentation for consistency, chronology, maintenance and regulatory quality</li> <li>Responsible to ensure continued integration of the Quality system with the company SMS programme</li> <li>Conduct audits and inspections of vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure they meet regulatory authority requirements</li> <li>Participate in audits of the company conducted by regulatory authorities, customers and other organizations and ensure the company implements necessary corrective action</li> <li>Monitor inspection procedures and policy on a random basis to ensure quality control procedures are being effectively carried out</li> <li>Other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications/Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>EASA Part 66 Licence or aeronautical degree</li> <li>Completion of a recognised lead auditor course</li> <li>Training on quality management systems</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Approval specific qualifications</li> </ul> <ul> <li>English (fluent)</li> <li>Microsoft Office applications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>If you are interested in this job opportunity and are either based in Ireland or are willing to relocate then please contact Rob Fagan for an initial, confidential discussion.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>A little about us…</strong></p> <p>Resource Group is a recognised global leader and trusted provider of resourcing and recruitment services with operations worldwide.
