<p>Leonardo Helicopters are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced ATCO to join our Yeovil ATS team. It is an exciting time to be joining the UK’s only Helicopter manufacturer with a major Runway upgrade program due to commence in 2020.</p> <p><strong>Prospective applicants must hold</strong></p> <p>UK CAA /EASA approved ATC licence with a valid Aerodrome Control Instrument (ADI) and Approach Procedural Control (APP).</p> <p>(suitable applicants with only one rating or have recently passed a CAA approved ATCO courses maybe considered for sponsorship)</p> <p>UK CAA European Class 3 medical certificate.</p> <p>English Language proficiency endorsement of level 4 or above</p> <p>Desirable but not essential that applicants hold OJTI, Met observer qualifications.</p> <p>Ability to work as part of a small team & maintain a flexible attitude in relation to shift hours and operational requirements, in line with government legislation. Duties include providing a safe orderly and expeditious Air traffic Control service in accordance with CAA regulations and local procedures. Assisting the SATCO with the day to day running of the ATS department. Working knowledge of the relevant CAA & MAA documentation. Previous Mil ATCO experience and working in class G airspace with a mix of VFR/IFR would be advantageous.</p> <p>Starting salary of £35,000 for ADI only and a remuneration package commensurate with the expected experience of the successful applicant.</p> <p>The company also offers a generous relocation package where appropriate.</p> <p><strong>To apply for this role, or for more information, please click the apply button. </strong></p>
