Job Title: </strong>Air Traffic Control Officer</p> <p><strong>2. Location:</strong> Ireland West Airport</p> <p><strong>3. Reports to: </strong>Reports to the Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO)</p> <p><strong>4. Job Purpose: </strong>To maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic on and in the vicinity of Ireland West Airport in accordance with procedures published in the MATS.</p> <p><strong>5. Main Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>5.1 The ATCO’s main responsibility is the day to day safe and efficient provision of the Air Traffic Control Service at Ireland West Airport.</p> <p>5.2 Control of Aircraft on the movement area.</p> <p>5.3 Control of vehicular activity on the maneuvering area.</p> <p>5.4 The control of air traffic operating in the Connaught CTR and adjacent airspace as delegated under LOA’s.</p> <p>5.5 Co-ordination with adjacent agencies as required.</p> <p>5.6 Providing an alerting service in accordance with procedures published in the MATS.</p> <p>5.7 Operation of airfield, ATC and related systems in accordance with published procedures.</p> <p>5.8 Compliance with ATC and Company regulations and reporting procedures.</p> <p>5.9 Provide advice and assistance as required to the SATCO, ATM staff and Aerodrome staff</p> <p>5.10 Maintenance of regulatory &amp; company administrative records in accordance with published procedures.</p> <p>5.11 Liaison with Airfield and external agencies as required.</p> <p>5.12 Assist with unit project management.</p> <p>5.13 Comply with operational instructions as outlined in MATS.</p> <p>5.14 Checking of ATC related equipment status.</p> <p>5.15 Reports incidents or unserviceability’s in accordance with published procedures and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>5.16 Complete any training courses as required for maintenance of competency</p> <p>5.17 Undertake training and competency as published in the UTP and UCC’s.</p> <p>5.18 When required, be involved in the selection and training of ATC personnel in accordance with IAA requirements</p> <p>5.19 Other ATC related tasks as decided by the SATCO Ireland West Airport.</p> <p>The above list is not exhaustive and we expect to see a demonstration of the applicants individuality, innovativeness and use of their particular skills as appropriate.</p> <p><img alt="decription" rel="no-follow" src="/getasset/ef5c5779-821c-43bd-865a-f9b873a0c004/" /></p> <p><strong>To apply for this role, or for more information, please click the apply button.</strong></p>
