Find your future with us.</p> <p>The Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program of the Boeing Company is looking for a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer Planner to work on second shift, including weekends, in a manufacturing factory located in Huntsville, Alabama to participate in the production of an electro-mechanical seeker using established production guidelines.</p> <p><b>Position Description:</b></p> <p>The Manufacturing Planner will work in a manufacturing factory daily under minimal supervision; no virtual work shall be allowed or considered. </p> <p>This position is a second shift position without the immediate potential for first shift work.</p> <p>The planner will work and interface directly with a represented workforce of skilled technicians, craftsman and quality assurance personnel, along with other salaried support employees and management.</p> <p>The Manufacturing Engineer Planner shall work under minimal supervision with no instructions needed for routine work that is reviewed upon completion for sound technical judgment and adequacy in meeting objectives.</p> <p>The planner participates as a member of the operations support team interfacing with hourly touch labor personnel to support the integration of a highly specialized electro-mechanical assembly with technical solutions across multiple disciplines and will support the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.</p> <p>The planner will support the PAC-3 manufacturing factory in Huntsville, Alabama with development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies and techniques. </p> <p>They will also support the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program technical data package for manufacturing. </p> <p>They will participate in the creation and implementation of manufacturing work plans and instructions. The planner works with senior level engineers and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and technical experience providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. </p> <p> This position is not considered for virtual work and must be in attendance during the touch labor second shift. 25% Overtime/weekend work is required.
