Find your future with us.</p> <p>The Boeing Company is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in Heath, OH.</p> <p><b>Job Description Summary:</b></p> <p>Assists in development, implementation and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Assists in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. Collects data to support manufacturing assessments for part or product designs. Assists in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners. Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Works under close supervision.</p> <p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Selected Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintain planning documents in various business systems , GOLDesp and MESci. Excellent written and communication skills a must. Requires the ability to interpret drawings and determine build sequences, materials needed, and understand drawing requirements. Selected candidate will work on multiple programs with varied requirements.</li> </ul> <p><b>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. </b></p> <p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</b></p> <p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p> <ul> <li>Associates degree required from an accredited course of study, in engineering, mathematics, physics or chemistry is required.</li> <li>Knowledge with electrical/mechanical manufacturing process and assembly sequencing</li> <li>Must have experience in: developing manufacturing plans, conceptual designs for tooling and fixtures, generating work instruction</li> <li>Must be able to obtain an secret clearance post hire</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p> <ul> <li>ABET accreditation degree preferred</li> <li>Experience with manufacturing engineering disciplines</li> </ul> <p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p> <p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Associates) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
