<p><strong>Head of Air Navigation Services</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: Competitive</strong></p> <p>This is a very exciting time for Highlands and Islands Airports as we commence delivery of our transformational programme in Air Traffic Management.&nbsp; Introducing Remote Tower technology will allow us to completely change the way in which we deliver Air Traffic Management and future proof the services for the remote and fragile communities where we deliver lifeline services.</p> <p>In this role, you will work closely with our ATMS Programme Director to shape the services and associated policies, procedures, training and working practices in our new Centralised Surveillance centre in Inverness.</p> <p>This is a challenging role so we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in Air Traffic Services who, as a minimum, holds or has held an Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCO) License issued by a European Union member state, with both Aerodrome Control (ADI) and Approach Radar (APS) ratings and validations, for a period of not less than 5 years.</p> <p>This role requires an individual who can drive and deliver our plans as well as support the cultural change needed to transition the current model of Air Traffic Management to the new Centralised Surveillance Centre (CSC).&nbsp; You will need experience of managing and delivering challenging and complex projects and be an experienced people manager with excellent leadership skills.&nbsp;</p> <p>As well as this ambitious programme of work, HIAL has set out a new Company Strategy committing to Sustainable Aviation whilst connecting our communities and protecting our environment.&nbsp; We have set bold targets for business and route development, aiming to reach one million passengers in 2020 so an understanding of the business environment within the aviation sector and the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities would be an advantage.</p> <p>In return we offer a great benefits package, including a good salary, generous annual leave entitlement, an excellent company pension (employer contribution rate of 27.4%) and an employee assistance programme which both you and your family can use as well as a relocation package.</p> <p>Closing date for applicants is <strong>27 March 2020.</strong></p> <p><strong>To apply for this role, or for more information, please click the Apply Button.</strong></p>
