Find your future with us.</p> <p>The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Instructional Systems Designer based out of Renton, WA.</p> <p><u><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></u></p> <ul> <li>Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates specialized pilot and maintenance training materials, assessments and programs</li> <li>Perform or comply with needs analysis to develop training programs and curricula. Partner with subject matter experts in the performance of Instructional System Design (ISD) tasks</li> <li>Evaluation of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development and delivery for internal and external customers</li> <li>Uses technical and instructional writing skills to simplify complex learning objectives. Work is conducted in a team environment to provide mutual support to fellow instructional designers and subject matter experts</li> </ul> <p><b>*Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status*</b></p> <p><u><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></u></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent</li> <li>Must be able to travel 25% of the time</li> <li>3+ years' experience with designing training content for multi-cultural audiences</li> <li>3+ years' experience with tailoring training content and approach to match unique customer requirements</li> <li>3+ years' experience working with cross functional teams and in support of a global presence</li> <li>Experience in learning technology, education, technical writing and human factors</li> </ul> <p><u><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></u></p> <ul> <li>1+ years' experience designing competency-based training</li> <li>1+ years' experience designing and developing commercial or military flight training content</li> <li>1+ years' experience designing aviation training for international audience</li> <li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment</li> <li>Possesses a customer-focused mindset</li> </ul> <p><u><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></u></p> <p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p> <p><i><b>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</b></i></p> <p><b><i>Referral to this job is eligible for bonus.</i></b></p> <p><b><i>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</i></b></p> <p><b><i>All information provided will be checked and may be verified.</i></b></p> <p><b><i>Please apply ASAP for this role as recruitment may commence before the end date.</i></b></p> </li> </ul> <p><br /> <b>Experience Level</b><br /> Individual Contributor<br /> <b>Contingent Upon Program Award</b><br /> No, this position is not contingent upon program award<br /> <br /> <b>Schedule</b><br /> Full time<br /> <br /> Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
