<p>Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.</p><p>Joining us is a chance to make your mark, working with a diverse team that is united in pushing the boundaries of imagination and excellence.</p><p>We currently employ more than 2,500 people across 14 sites in Australia and three international locations and have a range of opportunities available as we plan for future growth.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are seeking a talented<strong>Senior</strong><strong>Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Warehouse Supervisor)</strong> to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. The role will be based at RAAF Base Amberley.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Supervision of BDA warehouse operations including daily task setting and prioritisation of staff</p></li><li><p>Supervise the provision and distribution of inventory to meet all internal and external customers requirements in accordance with the appropriate procedures</p></li><li><p>Provide direct support to all internal and external customers</p></li><li><p>Processing Inventory Management System transactions to support project activities as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and control inventory accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Boeing policy and procedures.</p></li><li><p>On call requirements</p></li><li><p>Receipt, storage, handling, packaging &amp; shipping and issuing of inventory at the project warehouse facility.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role</p></li><li><p>CERT IV or higher in Warehouse and/or Management</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, supply support roles and functions.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in the receipt and dispatch of goods and services.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience with computerised inventory management systems and methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.</p></li><li><p>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><p>Flexible working options </p></li><li><p>Study assistance </p></li><li><p>Salary packaging </p></li><li><p>Employee Incentive Program </p></li><li><p>Global opportunities</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>View the full Position Description and apply now.</p>
