<p><strong>During the Covid-19 pandemic the customer has confirmed this job is active / alive</strong> For our customers in the aerospace industry, we are now looking for a motivated candidate for the Bremen, Germany location for the following position: <strong>Development Engineer Damage Tolerance (f/m/d) Ref. 2020_134</strong><br /> <strong>Task profile:</strong><br /> Ensuring damage tolerance and operational strength of space structures (metal and composite structures, components, tanks, fuel lines)<br /> Definition of load spectra and determination of load spectra from measurements<br /> Professional selection and qualification of inspection procedures (NDI)<br /> Assessment of material properties depending on environment, material technology and manufacturing process<br /> Use of numerical methods for the determination of stress intensities and local stresses, crack progress simulation, fatigue analysis (Esacrack Software Package)<br /> Derive and implement damage tolerance requirements for components and subsystems<br /> Ensuring Fracture Control Program and Monitoring Implementation<br /> Implementation of external and internal requirements in functionalities for components and subsystems within the framework of predetermined concepts<br /> Development of damage-tolerant components and subsystems<br /> Support in the development of damage-tolerant, complex component and subsystems<br /> Implementation of the latest materials, technologies, components and tools available on the market for subsystem development as well as their production, testing and, if necessary, their use after coordination<br /> Interpretation, documentation and presentation of the results<br /> Evaluation of construction deviations<br /> <strong>Requirements:</strong><br /> Completed master's or diploma in aerospace or mechanical engineering<br /> At least 1 year of professional experience in the fields of fatigue and damage tolerance as well as mechanics in aviation<br /> Very good knowledge and experience in fracture mechanics, operational strength and materials technology<br /> Good understanding of the theoretical presentation of technical problems in engineering practice<br /> Communicative skills and team-oriented work<br /> Ability to present development results in an appealing way to a technically oriented working group<br /> Reliable assessment of technical problems and their reliable analytical treatment<br /> Very good knowledge in Nastran<br /> Experience with CAE programs such as ANSA, Hyperworks or PATRAN desirable<br /> Experience in dealing with the ESACRACK Software Package is an advantage<br /> Good German and very good english skills - French skills an advantage<br /> Have we aroused your interest?
