Experienced GMD Network Defense & Incident Response Specialist

Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced GMD Network Defense & Incident Response Specialist to support our Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program at Ft Greely, AK. This position provides 24/7 365 Network Defense for the GMD System.</p><p><p><b>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: </b></p><p>- Performs incident response activities across broad technology profiles or multiple systems.</p><p>- Interrogates industry sources and evaluates incident indicators.</p><p>- Determines nature, mechanisms, scope and location of the incident.</p><p>- Collects and preserves evidence, identifies intrusion or incident path and method.</p><p>- Performs event correlation and malware analysis.</p><p>- Isolates, blocks or removes threat access.</p><p>- Drafts incident/investigation reports and makes recommendation for future process enhancements.</p><p><p><b><b>This position requires an activeSecret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></b></p><p><p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):</b></p><p>- Network traffic monitoringor Security Information Event Monitor(SIEM) experience </p><p>- Minimum 3 years Incident Response & Reporting experience</p><p>- Capable of working a rotating shift</p><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): </b></p><p>- Experience with Wide Area Network (WAN) Topology and Enclaves</p><p>- Experience using SNORT, SPLUNK or OSSEC technologies</p><p>- Experience with Network Operation Center functions</p><p><p><b>TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</b>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b><b>RELOCATION:</b></b> This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</p><p><p><b><b>DRUG FREE WORKPLACE:</b></b> Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p><p><p>All information provided will be checked and may be verified.</p><p><p>Please apply ASAP for this role as recruitment may commence before the end date.</p><p>
