<p>The Boeing RF unit production in El Segundo CA.is seeking A MMIC assembler to lays out, assembles, using standard or established procedures and methods, monolithic microwave integrated circuit modules in conjunction with concurrent engineering projects.</p><p><p><b>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</b></p><p><p><b>This is a union represented position</b>.</p><p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Works from engineering sketches, schematics, assembly drawings, component specifications, data sheets, material and process specifications and oral and written instructions.</li><li>Lays out, assembles, tests and troubleshoots monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) using a basic working knowledge of electronic principles as well as semiconductor devices.</li><li>Sets-up and operates high-temperature gold eutectic alloy die-bonding equipment. Possess basic knowledge, including levels of use, of compressed gases required in the process with added training in the handling of gallium arsenide (GaAs).</li><li>Performs various wire-bonding techniques by setting-up and operating machines such as thermocompression wedge-wedge, thermosonic wedge-wedge, ultrasonic and thermosonic ball-wedge wire bonders.</li><li>Sets-up and operates parallel gap-welding equipment, die shear equipment and microprocessor controlled pull test equipment for destruct and non-destruct machine and parts verifications.</li><li>Selects and record MMIC's used in each production module based on given electrical requirements and the data supplied by the manufacture.</li><li>Inspect own work for proper workmanship at each assembly step per the current process specification quality requirements.</li><li>May use hand and power tools and equipment as necessary to perform above duties.</li><li>Meet necessary certification as required.</li><li>Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required.</li></ul><p><p><b>At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire.
