Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) is currently seeking a <b>Fire Protection Operation Specialist </b>to join their team in Mesa, AZ!</p><p><p>Qualified candidates will be responsible for answering and entering emergency calls while simultaneously dispatching for and monitoring multiple fire and security radio channels with moderate to high volume radio traffic. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently is crucial to effectively perform the minimum requirements of this position. Applicants must possess the ability to hear and understand multiple sound sources while simultaneously and accurately documenting information in CAD. Further, candidates must possess the ability to receive and communicate information accurately to and from multiple sources while multitasking.</p><p><br />The candidate will be Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Certified and in good standing. (EMD training is provided in-house.) Will be responsible for providing approved Pre-Arrival Instructions according to policies and procedures. Candidate will be responsible for making required and requested notifications. The Dispatch Center operates on a 24 / 7 / 365.</p><p><p><b>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. </b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship</li><li><p>1+ years of experience working as an emergency dispatcher at a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or in a related role within Security & Fire Protection</p></li><li><p>1+ years of experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment</p></li><li><p>Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Candidate should have strong computing skills, excellent communication skills, be customer-oriented, positive, flexible, and a strong team player</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
