Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing's Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Development Supply Chain Contracting (SCc) team is seeking a purchasing professional to act as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services</p><p><p>As an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2), you will create and manage major supplier purchase contracts in support of the BDS Development Programs. Candidates should have experience with the entire procurement life cycle to include developing Supplier Buy to Packages, Requests for Proposal, evaluating bids, creating and issuance of Purchase Contracts, and pre/post award contract administration through closeout.</p><p><p>Purchase Contracts can range from high to low dollar value for all types of commodities and services. Purchase contract price types will also vary, including Cost Reimbursable Incentive Fee/Award Fee, Firm-Fixed Price, and Time & Material.</p><p><p>Overall this position requires an individual who can manage multiple subcontracts expeditiously, while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. Additional responsibilities could include issuance and administration of Teaming Agreements, Proprietary Information Agreements, New Business and Proposal Support.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.</li><li>Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.</li><li>Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.</li><li>Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.</li></ul><p><p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. <b><b>US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).</li><li>More than 1 year of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>More than 1 year of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.</li></ul><p><p><b><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
