Can you manipulate data and use it to present solutions to the Air Force Wedgetail aircraft Reliability challenges?</p><p>We are seeking a talented <strong>Fleet Operations Analyst</strong> to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. The position will primarily focus on the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) in support of the Wedgetail platform. You don't need to know the tools for FRACAS (all training provided), you just require a sharp, enquiring mind and a willingness to use it.</p><p>As part of the Asset Management Team's analytical cell, you will support the Wedgetail aircraft capability with critical FRACAS Analytics, and help develop solutions to the reliability challenges you find. The successful applicant will review failure data, develop key reports and use these to pursue opportunities to improve support to the Wedgetail aircraft, and support system out into the future. You will be supported by the team to help develop cost effective solutions for the aircraft platform as well as work with the engineering team to support the Defence Aviation Safety Regulatory driven reliability/safety assurance program.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Draw data from the Defence approved Computer Maintenance Management tool (CAMM2 and NetMAARS) and other sources to develop key FRACAS reports for the customer and the Asset Management Team to use in analysing system reliability trends.</p></li><li><p>Critically review the reports and supporting data, to seek out and deliver improvement programs for the Wedgetail Capability, particularly with a focus on increased reliability and decreased cost of ownership.</p></li><li><p>Support to projects and programs that upgrade or enhance the Wedgetail capability by evaluating their data.</p></li><li><p>Assess changes proposed and how they will impact the aircraft or support systems availability to operate or cost of ownership, and offer advice on how to optimise both in a cost conscious manner.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><li>Working knowledge of Asset Management, FRACAS and Reliability concepts</li><li>Demonstrated experience as a critical thinker/analyst and the ability to mine data</li><li>Be able to challenge themselves to derive information from data that is not always clearly outlined</li><li>The ability to navigate and understand complex business structures and tailor data to best suit the needs of stakeholders.</li><li>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will also ideally have:</p><li>Experience in FRACAS Analysis or use of data modelling and analysis to generate reports to support decision making.</li><li>The ability to work as part of an integrated team, working cooperatively to develop, present and communicate data to support business cases with a cost conscious focus.</li></ul><p><p><strong>Culture</strong></p><p>We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
