Find your future with us.</p><p>The Supplier Quality Engineer Assists in integrating contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. </p><p>The position requires you to be located in Fort Worth, TX area with occasional travel to adjacent states. </p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Plans, organizes and conducts audits/assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.</li><li>Documents and reports audit/assessment results</li><li>Inspects or verifies products for compliance with applicable requirements</li><li>Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work</li><li>Investigates and resolves concerns to ensure compliance with requirements</li><li>Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity</li><li>Performs data analysis to determine engagement strategy at suppliers </li><li>Reports status of supplier performance</li><li>Ability to plan, prioritize and manage daily assignments</li><li>Participates in Program and Production Readiness Reviews at suppliers</li><li>Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</b></p><p><p><b>This position requires that you work at/near Fort Worth, Texas. If candidate does not currently reside in this area, they must be willing to relocate at their own expense to support this position.</b></p><p><p><b>Candidate must have a valid drivers license and vehicle and be willing to commute regularly to suppliers or Boeing facilities.</b><br /></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Three years of industry experience in Quality or working process improvements</li><li>Familiarity with root cause corrective action (Minimum of 2yrs) </li><li>Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Product: Word, Excel and Power Point</li><li>Travel will be required outside Texas State</li><li>Must possess a valid Driver's License and own a vehicle</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. </li><li>Five(5) or more years related work experience. </li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education or experience (e.g. Masters).</li></ul><p><p><b>Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</b></p>
