Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a <b>Mid-LevelLogistics Services </b><b>Representative(LSR)</b> to join the F/A-18 Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Cell effort located at <b>NS Norfolk, VA.</b></p><p><p>This position is with the F/A-18 Logistics Services team, Field Operations. The Norfolk LSR serves as a liaison between the US Navy and the Boeing Captions of Industry support team in St. Louis, MO. The LSR supports customer requirements and communicates supply chain issues back to Boeing for Asset Management involvement and process improvements. The LSR will be highly skilled and experienced with USN Aviation Supply processes and procedures and the USN Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.</p><p><p><p><b>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p>Very exciting opportunity where you perform continuous review and analysis of supply and demand of F/A-18 material. You will work directly with USG representatives providing support in fast paced activity to support F/A-18 AOG aircraft so these aircraft return to service with minimum delay. Also work directly with Boeing Asset Managers in their role to find and source materials. You will communicate performance expectations and metrics to Boeing Program Management for evaluation of strategies.</p><p><ul><li>First and foremost you must follow and promote Boeing Safety, Quality, and Integrity practices and initiatives.</li><li>For this AOG Cell position you must be able to facilitate rapid response and decision-making within Boeing supply-chain and/or engineering divisions. To accomplish this you must know how to facilitate accelerated part deliveries to the US Navy at the AOG Cell direction via production spares and/or rapid manufacturing options.</li><li>As part of the AOG Cell team you have to advocate within Boeing for prioritization of AOG aircraft.</li><li>You will have to research Boeing open orders and work opportunities for expedite with Boeing Supply Chain. Plus, utilize Boeing perspective and situational awareness to generate multi-pathway solutions for AOG aircraft.</li><li>You must also, facilitate engagement for engineering, production, repair and other questions; for most expeditious AOG solutions.</li><li>Prepare Monthly Progress Reports for the Boeing F/A-18 Rhino Readiness program manager.</li><li>This position is for a rotational shift.</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Must have a current Secret clearance pre-start</b></p><p><p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years military aircraft logistics support experience with, maintenance and acquisition practices</li><li>Ability to work rotational shift</li></ul><p><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)</b></p><ul><li>Previous experience providing USN F/A-18 Logistics Services</li><li>Familiar with USN NAMP and NAVSUP processes</li></ul><p><p><b>TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p>Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.</p><p><p><b>RELOCATION</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
