<p>Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.</p><p>Joining us is a chance to make your mark, working with a diverse team that is united in pushing the boundaries of imagination and excellence.</p><p>We currently employ more than 2,500 people across 14 sites in Australia and three international locations and have a range of opportunities available as we plan for future growth.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>The Operations Support Coordinator role will be responsible for the provision of Help Desk services in support of the Wakulda Air Battle Space Management System.</p><p>This role is the key liaison between BDA, 41 Wing and associated Operating Units, to coordinate responses to issues that impact operational availability requirements. </p><p>You will have a high level of communication to facilitate open interaction between the customer, customer support teams, repair agencies and key internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>This position will primarily focus on triage of system issues, coordination of appropriate Wakulda support resource to deal with the issue and reporting of Service Desk ticket current status, agreed closure of issue and/or escalation if required.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide Help/Service Desk Services including:</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide first line support for Customer operational and technical issues</p></li><li><p>Perform routine IT System maintenance activities</p></li><li><p>Provide OJT to System operators</p></li><li><p>Coordinate system availability</p></li><li><p>Manage the Maintenance/asset management system</p></li><li><p>perform first line MRD analysis</p></li><li><p>Draft interim work instruction and system 'help' documents </p></li><li><p>Collect metrics</p></li></ul><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated defence knowledge</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years' work experience providing engineering and/or logistics support in an Australian Defence Force (ADF) military technical and logistics environments</p></li><li><p>A strong work ethic and a sense of urgency for completing work to agreed schedules</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and oral communication skills</p></li><li><p>Basic level leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a group environment and with people across all organisational levels</p></li><li><p>Meet the United States Government's nationality requirements for ITAR clearance</p></li><li><p>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Culture</strong></p><p>We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
