Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Network Designer to support our business in Chantilly, VA.</p><p><p>This position will work with a very diverse engineering team seeing projects through from design/build to construction and implementation. This organization supports mission critical government programs.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for network transport technologies and services. Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards.</li><li>Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of implementation packages per Boeing standards.</li><li>Performs maintenance of network systems.</li><li>Collects and compiles data for budget planning.</li><li>Coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects.<br /></li></ul><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. </b>A finalTop Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph is required Pre-Start.</p><p><p><b>Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. </b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills and Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience working withaudio visual multimedia applications and equipment</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience working withfiber optics</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Office Excel</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Experience &Skills)</b>:</p><ul><li>An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph</li><li>AMX programming</li><li>AutoCAD experience</li><li>Keyboards, Videos & Mouse (KVM) experience<br /></li></ul><p><b>Typical Education/Experience</b>: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.</p><p><p><b>RELOCATION:</b> This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
