Find your future with us!</p><p><p>The Boeing Company is looking for an Inspector Assembly/Specialty that is located in Ridley Park, PA.</p><p><p><p><b>Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:</b></p><p><ul><li>Inspect all aircraft parts, assemblies and rotor blades for conformance to drawings, specifications, fixtures and templates</li><li>Inspect aircraft parts, assemblies, mechanical sub-assemblies and rotor blades, in all phases of fabrication, assembly, repair, static balance, painting, stenciling and packaging</li><li>Inspect repaired and salvaged units for quality and compliance to Standard Repairs Manual and Material Review Board (MRB) decisions</li><li>Perform Process Surveillance and process monitoring duties. Monitor composite, bonding, and sealant processes for compliance to application processes, freedom from voids, and proper cure temperatures and pressures</li><li>Stamp or otherwise approve acceptable parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies and prepare appropriate paperwork and for non-conforming order rejection or rework and prepare necessary documentation</li><li>May be required to perform inspection duties at subsidiary plants, vendor, or subcontractor plants</li><li>May advise on acceptable methods of inspection and the interpretation of Company standards</li><li>Perform all work in accordance with prints, specifications, other specified documents or oral instructions and in conformance with Company standards of safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping</li><li>May provide instruction to employees designated to assist with the above duties</li><li>Inspect all aircraft parts, assemblies and rotor blades for conformance to drawings, specifications, fixtures and templates</li></ul><p><p><p><b>Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: </b></p><p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</p><p><p><p><b>Required Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications</li><li>Experience with the fabrication, layup, or inspection of composite materials</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Exercise considerable independent judgment</li><li>Ability to generate NCRs within MED</li><li>Capable of Inspection of composite materials</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p><ul><li>High school diploma/GED and/or vocational/trade school training preferred.</li></ul><p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p>Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p><p><p>At Boeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion are enduring company values.
