(DRT), a subsidiary of the The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated, career, and customer oriented <b><b>Associate Procurement Agent </b></b>to support a multitude of fast paced programs through cradle-to-grave management of subcontract activities to include all contract types in our <b><b>Germantown, MD</b></b> location.</p><p><p>Headquartered in Germantown, DRT designs and manufactures Software Defined Radio (SDR) based technical solutions. Specific areas of expertise include DSP-based receiver design, communication systems theory, PCS/wireless communications, RF and software design.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.</li><li>Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.</li><li>Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.</li><li>Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.</li></ul><p><p><b><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (</b></b>An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)</p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher.</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).</li></ul><p><p><b><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
