<p>Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.</p><p>Joining us is a chance to make your mark, working with a diverse team that is united in pushing the boundaries of imagination and excellence.</p><p>We currently employ more than 2,500 people across 14 sites in Australia and three international locations and have a range of opportunities available as we plan for future growth.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Technical Publications Team Lead with experience in Integrated Support Planning and Management for this exciting and dynamic role based in Brisbane.</p><p>The Technical Publications Team Lead coordinates and directs the team that plans, develops, and creates the Operational and Maintenance Technical Publication delivery for the UK Wedgetail project.</p><p>The role leads the Technical Publication development task to deliver technical publications to the UK customer. As such, we would welcome applications for full time, and flexible work arrangements.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead, plan and execute the technical publication elements of the Technical Services program activities for a new program</p></li><li><p>Develop program implementation/integration plans and schedules</p></li><li><p>Define, plan, develop, coordinate, integrate, and manage technical publications support requirements to ensure effective introduction, operation, and support of BDA products and services within the customer's environment</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with BDA UK ILSM and relevant capability leaders to assist with resource planning</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience managing employees performing technical or specialist activities within product support</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated leadership experience potential in the development of technical publications within a system specialty or workgroup</p></li><li><p>Experience in the development of technical publications for all levels of operations and maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system</p></li><li><p>Ability to monitor performance to project plans and budgets and take action to meet project objectives</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports</p></li><li><p>High level communication and negotiation skills that facilitate interaction between the project staff and key internal and external customer groups</p></li><li><p>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements</p></li></ul><p><strong>Culture</strong></p><p>We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
