Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a <b><b>Senior Procurement Agent</b></b> (Level 5) to support our Supply Chain Organization in <b><b>San Antonio, TX or Seattle, WA</b></b>.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.</li><li>Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.</li><li>Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.</li><li>Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation process.</li><li>Prepares and executes negotiated documents.</li><li>Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Manages contract terminations.</li><li>Develops organization and company improvement plans.</li></ul><p><p><b><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (</b></b>An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)</p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience leading supplier contract negotiations.</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>More than 5 years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).</li><li>More than 1 year of experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS) or Network Procurement (NWP).</li><li>More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.</li><li>More than 1 year of experience working on a Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposal.</li></ul><p><p><b><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</p><p><p><b><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></b></p><p>Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p><p><p><b><b>This position is for 1st shift.</b></b></p><p><p>At Boeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion are enduring company values.
