Find your future with us.</p><p><p>The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a <b>Supplier Quality Engineer</b>. This position is located in Kent, Washington. </p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation</li><li>Provides interpretation of complex requirements </li><li>Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. </li><li>Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. </li><li>Develops and implements corrective actions. </li><li>Works under minimal direction.</li><li>Engage in Early Quality Involvement with Boeing program(s) and supplier(s) to establish effective quality oversight plans that positively influence the supplier's Quality Management System (QMS) health and performance</li><li>Provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives</li><li>Ensure Boeing and the Supplier(s) have a thorough understanding of requirements and capabilities</li><li>Assess capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requiresa current and active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain aTop Secret clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance</li><li>10 years of Quality/Supplier Quality experience</li><li>Familiarity with reading product blueprints, schematics, and other product definition data (PDD)<p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Digital Product Definition (DPD) and Model Based Definition (MBD) requirements</li><li>Experience with Satellite, or related, programs</li><li>Presentation Skills</li><li>Training/Coaching Skills</li><li>Technical Writing</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).</li></ul><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><ul><li>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</li></ul><p><p><b>Union Statement:</b></p><ul><li>This is a union-represented hourly position.</li></ul><p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p>Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p><p><p><b>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: </b></p><p>Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
