Find your future with us.</p><p><p>The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity available in Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space and Launch Team for a <b>Quality Engineer</b> in our Huntsville, Alabama facility.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Review and approved engineering drawings to insure inspection and quality characteristics are incorporated and adequately defined.</li><li>Review and approve team processes and procedures.</li><li>Support Internal and third party audits.</li><li>Review and approve Redline Drawing changes.</li><li>Assures adherence to internal processes and procedures.</li><li>Assume responsible MRB QE role for all NCRs associated with the supporting IPT. </li><li>Assign Mandatory Inspection Points </li><li>Support Test activities.</li><li>Support Software loads verification and checkout.</li><li>Work with Suppliers to ensure they deliver a Quality product.<p></li></ul><p><b>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. </b><b>120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></p><p><br /><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry</li><li>1+ years Quality or related experience</li><li>1+ years RCCA experience<p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree</li><li>1+ years Quality or related experience</li><li>RCCA experience<p></li></ul><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</li></ul><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
