Find your future with us.</b></b></p><p><p><b><b>Position overview:</b></b></p><p><p>The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an<b><b>ExperiencedQuality Engineer</b></b> to join the Special Projects Dallas (SPD) program team at Berkley, MO. These exciting and dynamic programs include development, production, and sustainment contracts for the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) and Littoral Surveillance & Reconnaissance System (LSRS). This design engineering site will be based in Saint Louis, MO. The selected candidate will report to the SPDQuality senior manager. The AAS Production Program is currently transitioning out of Low Rate Initial Production and into Full Rate Production.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.</li><li>Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.</li><li>Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.</li><li>Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.</li><li>Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.</li><li>Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.</li><li>Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.</li><li>Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.</li><li>Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.</li><li>Works under general direction.</li></ul><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><b><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance post start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. </b></b></li><li>Bachelor Degree or higher in engineering discipline or science related field.</li></ul><p><p><b>PreferredQualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience inQuality engineering.</li><li>3+ years of experience in tools including MESCI, IQDS, SQIS</li><li>Strong balance between technical skills, and strength in communications, presentation, creativity, vision, and work ethic.</li><li>Experience in production transformation / optimization activities including implementation of quality improvement plans, design for manufacturing, development of cost-reduction opportunities, and incorporation of engineering changes.</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience</b>:</p><p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p><br /><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
