The company's commitment to diversity means providing a work environment for all employees that is welcoming, respectful and engaging, with opportunities for personal and professional development. </p><p><p>Boeings Data Center Management Organization is seeking a <b>Mid-Level Data Center Analyst </b>at the Kings Mountain, North Carolina Data Center.</p><p><p>This person will assist in overseeing the support of the building. The Mid-Level Data Center Analyst will also interface with other IT organizations such as Network, Storage, Server Technology, Global Real Estate, Security & Fire Protection and non-Boeing orgs whom support Boeings Data Center Operations.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Assist with overseeing the support of the building including; electrical/mechanical infrastructure security and fire protection operations and infrastructure, and hardware install/de-install</li><li>Ensure adequate power and cooling availability to the computing infrastructure</li><li>Shipping/receiving activities</li><li>Asset management, procurement and budgeting for the data center</li></ul><p><p><b>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. </b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Experience with wire installation and/or equipment installation</li><li>Experience with computing networking /storage concepts and architectures</li><li>Experience with data center infrastructure and technologies including network and transport services, server clusters and virtualization, and storage</li><li>1+ years of experience working with suppliers or vendors</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Experience working in a Boeing data center environment</li><li>Experience with data center management tools such as Aperture and Six Sigma</li><li>Data center related certifications preferred but not required (Uptime, IDCA, Cisco, etc.)</li><li>Experience with Boeing tools such as ServiceNow, Ariba, 6sigma, AutoCad, etc.</li><li>Experience working within a large company</li><li>Experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management</li><li>Experience in the assembly of electrical equipment racks</li><li>Experience in facility management administration</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience: </b><br />Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position offers relocation to eligible candidates.</p><p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p>
