Find your future with us. </p><p><p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Planner to join our Electronic Equipment Installation Integrated Product Team. The successful candidate will be performing the Model Based Instructions (MBI) graphic planning while developing the manufacturing concepts and strategies to support the business objectives and resolves manufacturing related issues. Be a part of a dynamic team, which is building products used by various customers around the world. This Level 3 position is based in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.</li><li>Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.</li><li>Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.</li><li>Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition.</li><li>Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.</li><li>Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.</li><li>Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.</li><li>Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Works under general direction.</li></ul><p><p><b><b>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required)</b></p><ul><li>More than 3 years of experience with the visualization tool VISMOCKUP and MBIs (Model Based Instructions).</li><li>More than 5 years of experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, PPT etc.).</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired)</b></p><ul><li>More than 10 years of experience in operations planning, metrics, and/or creating standard work processes.</li><li>Ability to mentor junior level engineers and shop floor workers.</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation</b></b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
