Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) is currently seeking a highly motivated <b>Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist </b>to join their team in Richardson, TX or Dallas, TX.</p><p><br /><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Conducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.</li><li>Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls.</li><li>Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries.</li><li>Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities in compliance with government regulations/requirements.</li><li>Assists COMSEC custodians and less experienced personnel in COMSEC responsibilities.</li><li>Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.</li><li>Leads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes (works with databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submittals to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer requirements.</li><li>Conducts security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.</li><li>Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements. Performs Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.</li><li>Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries.</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Successfully completed a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years</li><li>3+ years of experience in Industrial Security </li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher</li><li>Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or Alternate/Assistant, Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Alternate/Assistant or a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or Alternate/Assistant</li><li>Experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM), NISP and Special Access programs</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience:</b></p><p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p><p>This position does not offer relocation.
