<p>The Boeing Germantown/DRT team is seeking a Test Engineer to support the manufacturing, test, and troubleshooting of software defined radio systems. This position will require the Engineer to be able to work well in a team environment, be detail oriented, and have experience in the development and support of Automated Test Equipment (ATE). The successful candidate will be familiar with RF technologies and test equipment, High Level programming language(s) preferably C++, and Microsoft Office applications.</p><p><p><b>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</b></p><p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Developing and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for software defined radio systems</li><li>Documenting work including Test Plans and Test Procedures</li><li>Supporting the production line technicians and operators</li></ul><p><p><b>At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire. Find your future with us. </b></p><p><p><b>This position requiresthe ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.</b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): </b></p><ul><li>Ability to develop test software and hardware to support the manufacture of software defined radio systems</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and test issues and maximize throughput</li><li>Proven experience with complex software and/or RF Radio/Antenna systems<p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): </b></p><ul><li>Advanced Experience with C++</li><li>Advanced understanding of RF technologies as they apply to radio or antenna systems.</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p>
