Find your future with us!</p><p><p>The Boeing Company is currently seeking an <b><b>Associate</b></b><b><b>System Administrator</b></b>to join the <b><b>Information Technology </b></b>group located in <b><b>Haleakala National Park, HI.</b></b></p><p><p>This position is a shift position that may require you to work a variety of fluctuating shifts that include days, nights, and possible on call support.</p><p><p><b><b>Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:</b></b></p><ul><li>Assists in the system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture.</li><li>Provides support for the design, validation and implementation of changes to computing delivery systems.</li><li>Performs system monitoring and backup and restore procedures to ensure system and data availability.</li><li>Administers users system access to meet security requirements. Performs problem resolution as appropriate.</li></ul><p><p><p><b>Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: </b></p><p><b><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></b></p><p><p><p><b>Required Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>1+ years experience all aspects of Windows Desktop administration (e.g. application and services, troubleshooting, application configuration, networking, user accounts, Active Directory and/or security</li><li>1+ years experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, vCAC, vCOps, and vCO</li><li>Experience using Linux or Unix terminal commands</li></ul><p><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in project management of systems implementation</li><li>System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus</li><li>Experience with UNIX shell scripting or Windows PowerShell scripting</li><li>An Operating System Certification (i.e. RedHat, Windows, etc)</li><li>Experience with Linux systems administration</li><li>The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education:</b></p><p>Experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.)</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position does not offer relocation.
