Find your future with us.</p><p><p>Boeing Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) is currently seeking a <b>Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist </b>to join their team in Wichita, KS. This position will be responsible for overall security in support of the KC-46 Program.</p><p><br /><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Advises internal and external customers on information protection processes and programs to protect company, people, property, information and interests</li><li>Responds to and investigates Threat Management incidents Mainly as initial response </li><li>Responds to emergencies and provides assistance to mitigate hazardous situations</li><li>Conducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.</li><li>Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls.</li><li>Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries.</li><li>Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities in compliance with government regulations/requirements.</li><li>Assists COMSEC custodians and less experienced personnel in COMSEC responsibilities. Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.</li><li>Conducts security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.</li><li>Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., Lock and Key operations, Access Control operations, Intrusion Detection, Visitor Control) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.</li><li>Monthly Fire Extinguisher and Valve Checks/Inspectionsand serve as local fire liaison with other fire departments</li><li>Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.</li><li>Assists less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in Industrial Security</li><li>3+ years of experience with Security & Fire Protection or uniformed security policies, procedures, disciplines and requirements</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher</li><li>Current CPR Certification</li><li>1+ years of experience in Emergency Management</li><li>Experience giving presentations and public speaking</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience:</b></p><p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p><p>Relocation available for eligible candidates</p><p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p><p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p><p><p>At Boeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion are enduring company values.
