<p><strong>As a proud member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) AeroProfessional is delighted to support ERA in its search for a Head of Aeropolitical Affairs.<br /> <br /> ERA is the trade association representing more than 64 airlines and 150 associate members, including manufacturers, airports, suppliers and aviation service providers, across the entire spectrum of the aviation industry. The power of one collective voice, representing multiple businesses, to promote and protect one industry sector is incredibly strong.<br /> <br /> ERA is now recruiting for the position of Head of Aeropolitical Affairs to initiate, develop and implement ERA policy. The Head of Aeropolitical Affairs will be a highly motivated and articulate individual, prepared to lead discussions on policymaking affecting ERA members. The role will focus on aeropolitical affairs and will involve working closely with other industry associations, and defending ERA positions before senior decision-makers, regulators, and industry-experts, whilst also recognising the need for diplomacy and compromise. As such, an excellent standard of spoken, written and presentation skills are essential, as is computer literacy.<br /> <br /> This role is a full-time office-based role divided between the UK offices and will involve regular travel, with an extensive presence in Brussels. Typically, there will be up to 3 trips per month but can vary depending on the business needs.<br /> <br /> Read below for further requirements of the role.</strong></p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Extensive knowledge of Aeropolitical affairs</strong></li> <li><strong>Extensive background in Aviation with a keen interest in the commercial, non-technical and strategic challenges within the industry</strong></li> <li><strong>Knowledge of Passenger Rights, PRM policies, consumer affairs within Aviation</strong></li> <li><strong>Excellent spoken, written and presentation skills</strong></li> <li><strong>Knowledge of European Aviation regulatory processes</strong></li> <li><strong>High level of autonomy, self-motivation and pro-activity</strong></li> </ul>
