Boeing Intelligence & Analytics ("BI&A"), </strong>a subsidiary of The Boeing Company,is seeking a Technical Writer to join their top-tier team.</p>DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:</strong></p>Responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents</li>Assist <strong>in preparing and maintaining</strong>operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications</li><strong>Gather technical information</strong>and prepare written text </p></li><strong>Maintain a current internal documentation</strong>library </p></li></ul>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><li>An Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph</li><li>6 years of experience as a Technical Writer on programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity. </li><li>Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university. Four (4) years of additional Technical Writing experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.</li></ul></li>Experience with<strong>multiple word processing</strong>and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc. </li>Experience writing technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity </li>Experience<strong>preparing reports, responses</strong>, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences </li>Experience<strong>working with developers</strong>to produce quality documentation and training materials </li>Experience writing technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity </li>Experience<strong>producing defense acquisition documentation</strong>, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems </li>Experience<strong>interpreting engineering and maintenance drawings</strong>, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information </p></li>Experience<strong>researching highly technical subject matter</strong>, organized information from multiple sources, and expressed technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers </p></li><strong>Applied technical manual standard</strong>DS-89 to work products </p></li></ul><p>BI&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
