Then we would like to talk to you. </p><p>As an equal opportunity employer that promotes a diverse and safe workplace environment, one of the country's leading and preferred defence partners, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is now recruiting Penetration Tester's, to work on the Currawong Project, based in Brisbane.</p><p>The successful candidate will be able to perform Penetration Testing and technical auditing of the following:</p><li>Firewalls & Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems;</li><li>Operating System Security Settings and firmware;</li><li>PKI Schemes and their implementation within complex systems;</li><li>Secureboot implementation;</li><li>Website based security vulnerabilities.</li></ul><p>In addition, the following knowledge and experience is highly valued:</p><li>Understanding of operating system privilege structure and security architecture - in particular the security model of Linux, including SELinux;</li><li>Understanding of secure network protocols and how to analyse network traffic;</li><li>Ability to create detailed reports outlining your findings, including security recommendations as per the ISM;</li><li>Understanding of web security fundamentals.</li></ul><p>To be successful you will have:</p><li>Working knowledge of Australian Defence security framework and associated policies and procedures including familiarity with the Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual (ISM)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to a broad and diverse audience.</li><li>A desire to work as part of a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of technology</li><li>Industry recognised qualification (<strong>OSCP, CREST or equivalent)</strong> and/or demonstrable relevant experience.</li><li><strong>Ability to obtain a Security Clearance</strong> - The preferred applicant will be required to successfully undergo the security clearance vetting process at the SECRET NEGATIVE VETTING 1 level. The preferred applicant <strong>MUST</strong> be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and <strong>MUST</strong> have lived in Australia, or have a checkable background, for at least the preceding<strong>Five</strong> years.</li></ul><p>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements. </p><p> BDA is dedicated to providing a diverse and flexible work environment so that we can recruit and retain the best talent.
