If you have military or civil flight test experience, we want you to join our Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Test Team. You will perform a diverse set of roles focused on the test and evaluation of a range of airborne platforms, including developmental Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).</p><p>As a <strong>BT&E Flight Test specialist,</strong> you will:</p><ul><li>Perform an active role in the developmental test of airborne platforms;</li><li>Assess the performance and flying qualities of experimental air vehicles;</li><li>Conduct integration and evaluation of complex airborne systems;</li><li>Accept a rare opportunity to play an instrumental role on a flight test program;</li><li>Be part of creating the future of military aviation capability;</li><li>Adopt a diverse and challenging role with an industry leader;</li><li>Position yourself for a future capability development role within Boeing / PW-I.</li></ul><p><strong>The Company</strong>: BDA and PW-I are business units of Boeing Defence, Space & Security. BDA is a fundamental part of Australia's Defence Industry, supporting F/A-18, E-7 and P-8. PW-I specialises in the development of technologies and creating next generation prototypes of future Boeing products. As a member of the BT&E Test Team, you'll work across both units.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong>: As a BT&E Flight Test specialist, you will play a critical role in the development of airborne system capability. You will collaborate with other Flight Test Team personnel, systems engineers and operators across the Company to develop procedures, safely conduct ground and flight test, and identify areas for continuing development of each airborne platform. Your input will be essential to development of our system's capability.</p><p>The working location is primarily based in the Brisbane area; however some flexibility could be possible. You will be expected to attend other work locations to support test requirements.</p><p><strong>About You</strong>: You are an experienced Military and/or civilian flight tester, with the right attributes to work within a leading-edge development and test environment. You are highly competent within your field, an innovator, a strong collaborator and a problem solver.</p><p>Ideally, you will have the following qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li>Long Course graduate from a recognised Test Pilot School;</li><li>A minimum of three years' experience conducting complex flight test on Military and/or civilian aircraft;</li><li>A minimum of six year's Systems Engineering experience in a Military and/or civilian engineering organisation;</li><li>An engineering degree, or equivalent technical engineering experience.</li></ul><p>You may also bring other valuable attributes, such as Military project/acquisition experience, Military/civil Certification experience, a broad experience of aircraft types, unmanned platform experience and acceptance/operational test experience. <strong>Are you up for the challenge?</strong></p><p>Please note that applicants must be Australian Citizens in order to meet Defence security clearance requirements.
