<p>The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a<b><b>Test and Evaluation Lab Technician</b></b><b> (Level 2) </b>to join our team in <b>Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. </b>This role will support multiple program test activities (e.g. VC-25, E-4, C-32, C-17, C-40, KC-767, KC-135, B-52, B-1, etc.). This role will primarily focus on fabricating wire harnesses and flight test equipment. </p><p><p>**Short term travel to Domestic and/or International locations in support of test programs will be required. ** </p><p><p><b>PositionResponsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies</p></li><li><p>Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies</p></li><li><p>Provides technical support for project management, including test plans or proposals, cost and schedule estimates, and instrumentation and test condition definitions</p></li><li><p>Guides test mechanics and electricians, and performs metrology and calibration certification services</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems. Conducts tests per plan and processes data; documents and communicates test plans and results</p></li><li><p>Interfaces with engineers, peers, group leaders, internal and external suppliers, and laboratory users for direction, collaboration, approval, and identifying requirements to resolve design, manufacturing, and related process problems</p><p></li></ul><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. </b>An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required. </p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>1+ years of electronic/electrical experience in any of the following fields: machine tool maintenance, industrial electronic and/or electrical maintenance field, or military electronic/electrical system maintenance</p></li><li><p>1+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics</p></li><li><p>1+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Wire harness fabrication experience</p></li><li><p>Formal training and/or education or experience as an aircraft technician or electrician</p></li><li><p>Experience either soldering components to Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) or Microwave Integrated Circuit (MIC) hardware for aircraft applications; or in building or making small items, requiring manual dexterity, from detailed written instructions</p></li><li><p>Must be able to travel domestically and/or internationally on short notice</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
