<p>The Flight Engineering Capability is an exciting organizational element in Boeing Defense, Space & Security responsible for Flight Engineering work statements.</p><p><p>Boeing is recruiting for a <b>Propulsion Engineer (Experienced)</b> to accomplish propulsion system support and analysis as part of a larger flight science team in <b>Henderson, NV</b>.</p><p><b>This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)</b></p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Accomplish propulsion system support and analysis as part of a larger flight science team</li></ul><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry</li></ul><ul><li>Experience working in Fuel Systems or Propulsion Systems</li><li>Experience with jet engines and/or fuel system mechanical operation fundamentals</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Propulsion ground and flight test</li><li>Propulsion analysis</li><li>Propulsion system installation</li><li>Propulsion system support</li><li>Engine operability</li><li>Experience with field support or working in a field support environment</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience: </b><br />Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
