The role is based in Brisbane.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contribute to the development of robust networking and communications systems and software.</p></li><li><p>Design, development, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.</p></li><li><p>Development of engineering documentation and configuration management of complex system hardware and software.</p></li><li>Experience with one or more of the following is desirable:<ul><li><p>IP networking protocols and implementation of network security</p></li><li><p>VoIP telephony configuration and integration</p></li><li><p>Python / C programming</p></li><li><p>HTML5 / Javascript / Web Development</p></li><li><p>Penetration / security testing of network appliances</p></li></ul></li></ul><p><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Tertiary degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering or equivalent technical experience in an electronic discipline.</p></li><li><p>Experience within Defence or complex engineering project environments (desirable)</p></li><li>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Culture</strong></p><p>We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
