<p>The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Technical Data Designer to join the Ogden Engineering team with the focus being on the development of new Air Force Organizational-level, Intermediate-level, and depot-level Technical Orders (T.O.s) covering operations and maintenance procedures, Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), work unit code manuals, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), Commercial off-the Shelf (COTS) manuals, and calibration manuals for the Minuteman III missile system. This Level 3 position will physically reside at Hill AFB, UT.</p><p><p><b><b>Position Responsibilities </b></b></p><ul><li>Develops all publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system or multiple sub systems</li><li>Collects, researches and analyzes source data</li><li>Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action</li><li>Develops technical publication project plan, budget and baseline schedules</li><li>Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements</li><li>Participates in or conducts customer technical and program reviews</li></ul><p><p><b><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship</b></b>. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.</p><p><p><b><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)</b></b></p><ul><li>3 years' of experience with MS Office Suite products</li><li>3 years' of technical writing experience</li><li>Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher</li><li>Experience creating and documenting maintenance operations</li><li>Experience with Minuteman III weapon system operations and maintenance activities and VAFB Test Launch processes is a PLUS</li><li>Experience and proficiency in the following software tools is highly desired: Arbortext Editor Authoring in Hyper Test Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML) or Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) format.</li><li>Adobe Illustrator to generate illustrations</li><li>Adobe Acrobat to create markups to legacy T.O.s</li><li>MS Office Suite products to generate TCTOs and T.O. source data</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Self-starter, ability to work in a technical environment</li></ul><p><p><b><b>Typical Education & Experience </b></b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b><b>Relocation</b></b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
