<p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support the Phantom Works Program in Mesa, Arizona.</p><p><p><b>Job responsibilities include, but are not limited:</b></p><ul><li>Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.</li><li>Provides interpretation of complex requirements (customer and internal)</li><li>Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. </li><li>Assists in development of new standards rework or repairs for non-conformances.</li><li>Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Investigations as well as lead/support MRB and FRB activities.</li><li>Develops and implements containment plans, as well as both short term and long term corrective actions. </li><li>Works with REAs, System Engineers, IPTs, Chief Engineers and Program Managers under minimal direction.</li><li>Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.</li><li>Engage in Early Quality Involvement with Boeing program(s) and supplier(s) to establish effective quality oversight plans that positively influence Quality Management System (QMS) health and performance</li><li>Provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives</li><li>Lead/engage/mentor/support other Total Quality representatives working on PW program.</li><li>Ensure Boeing and the Supplier(s) have a thorough understanding of requirements and capabilities.</li><li>Assess capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.</li></ul><p><p><b>Work Authorization</b></p><p>This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</p><p><br /><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)</b></p><ul><li>Active Secret Security Clearance</li><li>5 or more years of Quality experience</li><li>Familiarity with reading product blueprints, schematics, and other product definition data (PDD)</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)</b></p><ul><li>Digital Product Definition (DPD) and Model Based Definition (MBD) requirements</li><li>Experience with System Engineering, Satellite, and /or other Space related programs.</li><li>Presentation Skills</li><li>Training/Coaching Skills</li><li>Technical Writing<p></li></ul><p><b>Typical Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</li></ul><p><p><b>Relocation</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
