<p><b>Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS)</b> is recruiting for a mid-career <b>Manufacturing Planner (Level 3)</b> opportunity within Production Engineering in <b>Heath, OH</b>. As a Manufacturing Planner, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement the production and tooling methodologies. The successful candidate will analyze the designs and resolve complex problems. Be a part of a team, which is building the products used by various customers around the world.<br /></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.</li><li>Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.</li><li>Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.</li><li>Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.</li><li>Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.</li><li>Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition.</li><li>Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.</li><li>Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.</li><li>Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.</li><li>Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.</li><li>Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.</li><li>Works under general direction.</li><li>Maintains HAZTRAX chemical system as a chemical reviewer and administrator.</li><li>Performs GIDEP (Government Industry Data Exchange Program) alert investigations and resolution.</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. </b>(An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required)</p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>2+ yearsexperience in an Engineering Discipline.</li><li>3+ years experience working in a manufacturing engineering and / or a production environment.</li><li>2+ years experience in electrical/mechanical manufacturing process and assembly sequencing.</li><li>2+ years experience in work instruction or manufacturing planning development.</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Associates Degree or higher in Engineering</li><li>2+years of directly related experience in aircraft manufacturing fabrication and/or assembly processes and procedures preferred</li><li>Experience with 3D modeling (UG NX), Teamcenter Engineering, TipQA (nonconformance), Model Based Definition, and Model Based Instructions processes and procedures is desirable</li><li>Knowledge of working documents such as Engineering/Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Corrective Action</li><li>Ability to develop low cost and rapid equipment and tooling would be very desirable.</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p><p><p><b>Shift:</b></p><p>This position is for 1st Shift</p>
