About this role

<p>This role is required to set up and lead the Engineering Data Cell that will support the UK Apache Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) and, in due course, the Fleet Support Facility (FSF). Both organisations are part of the UK Apache Long Term Training and Support Service (LTTSS) contract that will begin in 2021. This is a full-time position based at Middle Wallop, Hampshire.</p><p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><p>This role will lead a small team responsible for the management, secure custody and integrity of engineering data generated by the OCU and FSF.</p><p>Duties include:</p><ul><li><p>Leadership, management, accountability and oversight of an Engineering Data Team of 4-5 staff</p></li><li><p>Raising, maintenance, safeguarding, archiving and disposal of individual aircraft engineering documentation and records in accordance with Boeing and Customer instructions, including, but not necessarily limited to the MOD Form 700 Series (MOD F700), aircraft records held on the GOLDesp system and other record-keeping forms and systems that may be specified by both Boeing and the UK MOD Customer</p></li><li><p>Compliance with the UK Apache Air System Document Set (ADS), the Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Manual of Airworthiness, Maintenance-Processes (MAM-P), the MAA Manual of Airworthiness Maintenance-Documentation (MAM-D) and other approved Technical Information (TI), as issued by the UK MOD Customer</p></li><li><p>Compliance with Boeing and Customer-mandated quality, assurance and audit frameworks</p></li><li><p>Collection, collation and uploading of Apache AH-64E Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) data</p></li><li><p>Technical Data Exploitation (TDE) and data analysis, including briefing of findings and identification of trends</p></li><li><p>Other tasks in support of the Support Operations Manager, Production Controller and Safety Cell as required</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Required Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrable expertise in aircraft records and aircraft data management in the UK Military Air Environment (MAE)</p></li><li><p>Experience of records management in UK Military Air Environment (MAE)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with UK military aircraft maintenance documentation (MOD F700 forms and GOLDesp)</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li><p>A relevant qualification at UK NQF Level 3 or higher</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Work Authorisation: </b>This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.</p><p><b>Security Clearance:</b> This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK Citizenship.</p><p><b>Relocation: </b>This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p>
