<p>The Boeing Company is seeking a <b>Procurement Agent (level 2)</b> in St. Louis, MO. This position will be in support of the Raytheon Subcontractor Supplier Team. The position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance.</p><p><p><b>Some other day to day responsibilities include:</b></p><ul><li>Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.</li><li>Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.</li><li>Partnering w/ Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs.</li><li>Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.</li><li>Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.</li></ul><p><br />The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.</p><p><p><b>Work Shift: Full Time Day Shift</b></p><p><p><b>Export Control:</b></p><p><b>The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee</b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field</li><li>Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project</li><li>Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired</li><li>Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices</li><li>Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role</li><li>Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
