<p>In 2014 BDUK won an Interim Training Contract from the MoD for the delivery of Pilot, Loadmaster and Maintainer training in support of the UK C-17 Fleet. This 20M, 5 year contract laid the foundation for what has proven itself to be a critical element of the UK's Defence capability so we are growing this capability by developing an extensive C-17 training catalogue that will provide a complete range of training for pilots, loadmasters and maintenance technicians for the next 20 years.</p><p><p><p>We are looking to hire experienced Multimedia Developers/Programmers to join us in providing specialist courseware design and development services to the C-17 and wider Defence portfolio of Boeing platforms and services.</p><p><p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p><p>Reporting to the Training Design and Development Manager the Multimedia Developer/Programmer is responsible for:</p><ul><li><p>Designing, developing, programming, managing, conducting and evaluating custom technical multimedia training solutions and emulations utilising Unreal Engine v4 for delivery in a classroom environment.</p></li><li><p>Creation of engaging and interactive multimedia assets for training content.</p></li><li><p>Assisting with cost-benefit analyses and preparing and presenting reports regarding the development implementation and evaluation of multimedia projects.</p></li><li><p>Providing complete training instruction and guidance in the performance ofprogramming tasks.</p></li><li><p>Assisting in the evaluation of new multimedia strategies, methods, technologies and tools related totraining design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.</p></li></ul><p><p><p>Multimedia Developers/Programmerswithin Boeing provide an extremely important service in our drive and determination to provide mission critical solutions to the Defence and Security sector. As a member of the Training Development Team you will perform a key role in the successful implementation of significant projects that are of vital importance to our Company and to the Defence and Security of our customers. Well provide world class personal and professional development opportunities that you would expect from a company like Boeing all so that you can help us to continue to provide an outstanding service to all our customers.</p><p><p><p><b>The person</b></p><p><p>To be successful in this role you will be expected to have thorough knowledge and experience of: </p><p><ul><li><p>Unreal Engine v4 blueprint system and C++, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and HTML5/CSS/XML/Javascript.</p></li><li><p>Generating and testing SCORM compliant content, developing interactive system schematics using Adobe Animate and utilising the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software.</p></li></ul><p><p><p>This role is subject to contract award.</p><p><p><b>Relocation: </b>This position does not offer relocation.
