(BDUK), currently has employees at 18 locations throughout the UK supporting Ministry of Defence (MoD) Programmes</p><p><p>The purpose of UK Rotor Craft Support (RCS) Supply Chain Management is to ensure effective delivery of goods and services to support the success of the RCS Through Life Customer Support (TLCS) programme and other relevant BDUK programmes as defined through BDUK strategy. The Supply Chain Team (SCT) has responsibility for forecasting, proposal management and contract change; component maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO); inventory maintenance; procurement and supplier management; and warehouse storage and parts distribution. Within this successful unit we are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Specialist.</p><p><p>The MJDI Accounts Supervisor employed on the TLCS Programme works within the Supply Chain Planning Team to control the governance of the MJDI accounting system. The Accounts Supervisor is responsible to the Supply Chain Planning Manager for accounting governance of MJDI to ensure compliance to MOD regulations contained in the Defence Logistic Framework.</p><p><p><b>The activity of this role includes:</b></p><ul><li><p>The supervision, administration, discipline and training of all personnel in Secondary Accounts, AinU/Discrepancy Report Clerk, Material Accountants employed at all Boeing locations</p></li><li><p>A-in-U procedures for all A-in-U initial take-overs, handover takeovers, annual musters and assurance checks are carried out</p></li><li><p>Manual accounting is carried out in accordance with current MOD regulations</p></li><li><p>Loans procedures are adhered to</p></li><li><p>Unsolicited outputs are processed, validated where applicable and retained for audit</p></li><li><p>Discrepancy Reporting processes are maintained</p></li><li><p>Prime MJDI UAA Account responsibilities are performed</p></li><li><p>Programmed stocktaking follows the quadrennial cycle and is maintained to plan</p></li><li><p>All manual and MJDI voucher progression tasks are completed</p></li><li><p>Final voucher scrutiny is completed and a high standard of filing is maintained</p></li><li><p>Preparing all registers for inspection by the Material Account Holder (MAH)</p></li></ul><p><p><br /><b>Essential Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>MJDI UAA</p></li><li><p>Advanced Microsoft Suite Skills</p></li><li><p>The ability to obtain SC Clearance</p></li></ul><p><p><b><b>Additional Skills:</b></b></p><p>Demonstrated experience of the Military Supply Chain and Defence Logistic Framework</p><p>Highly effective leadership and managerial skills are required for this role</p><p><p><p>Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
