No Defence industry experience necessary. If you haven't considered a job with us, there has never been a better time to start.</p><p>An opportunity exists for junior Systems Engineers with a System Integration, Verification and Validation background to become part of the BDA Engineering Team. As a systems and integration specialist with a Software centric skillset you will play a key role in supporting Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) capabilities and specifically, projects within the Ground Systems capability. </p><li>Attractive relocation package</li><li>Cutting edge projects</li><li>Attractive salary</li><li>No Defence experience necessary</li></ul><p>This role is based in <strong>Newcastle NSW (Williamtown)</strong> and reports to the Ground Systems team developing and enhancing Development and Verification systems for AEW&C Aircraft.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul><li>A self-starter with effective leadership skills and a can-do attitude</li><li>Enjoy being surrounded by motivated technically minded people</li><li>Strong planning and coordination skills</li></ul><p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary or advanced qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical discipline</li><li>Employment in the relevant technical discipline</li><li>Exposure to complex technical programs particularly in the requirements, design and integration phases</li><li>The ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts towards solving complex problems</li><li>Work history with system analysis, design and integration or test/quality assurance evaluations of systems and subsystems</li><li>Knowledge of requirements compliance tracking and reporting</li><li>Experience in using the Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for requirements management (Desirable)</li></ul><p>Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. </p><p><strong>About us</strong></p><p>Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the most important programs for the Australian Defence Force as well as significant work for our international clients.
