<p>The Boeing Company is currently seeking a <b>Mid-Level Modification Specialist </b>to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This candidate will be on-site during work hours and responsible for retrofit, repair, and modification logistics for B-52 parts, spares and repairs.</p><p><br /><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manages resource requirements, parts inventory and parts availability with supply chain to support customer and project needs</li><li>Utilize GOLD,, CAVAF, File Maker, SDF, and Scars to keep track of parts and inventory</li><li>Orders parts through EPR database</li><li>Investigates achievability of repairs</li><li>Verifies work performed and administers sell-off paperwork, coordinates receipt of incoming units from the field and depot</li><li>Arrange transport of received repair hardware through military receiving GFP property accounting with end routing to the FAST lab</li><li>Maintains accurate control of inventory</li><li>Oversees and prepares paper work to accomplish Test Tear-Down and Evaluation and Repair</li><li>Works with drawings and operation planning to release shop planning for fabricate of UID labels</li><li>Prepares paper work to accomplish repair piece part acquisitions and supplier services to facilitate the repair action</li><li>Closes out paperwork to document the completed repair, coordinate tracking/delivery info with the Air Force customers</li><li>Develops final scheduled maintenance visit plan and manages a minor plan</li><li>Identifies resources, manages scheduling, validates parts availability, works with engineers on obsolescence parts, go over warranties or repaired parts, and determines impact to the scheduled visit plan</li><li>Identifies alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues</li><li>Responds to issues regarding quality, performs root cause analysis and resolves or elevates issues</li><li>Analyze data, summarize findings, and develops conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources</li><li>Prepares the monthly UID Activity CDRL and others as required per contract</li><li>Receives customer inquiries regarding quality issues and performs root cause analysis</li><li>Maintains performance metrics</li><li>Coordinate with supplier management and buyers on procurement of parts and repairs</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle</li><li>3+ years of experience do you have in Integrated Logistics Support or Product Support</li><li>3+ years of experience do you have with material cost management, supply chain analysis, supply chain management or finance</li><li>3+ years of experience with procurement in a defense and/or government environment</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher</li><li>Experience interfacing with database systems (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, IBM, Teradata, etc.)</li><li>Experience working with Technical Publications, Configuration Management, Asset Management, and Quality Assurance personnel</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience: </b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
