<p>Boeing Global Services is on the move and our Vertical Lift Apache, Spares Engineering team is growing. The Vertical Lift team in <b>Mesa, Arizona </b>is seeking a highly motivated <b>Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2)</b> to work in a dynamic environment as we grow our services and processes to meet first time quality and on time delivery of manufacturing engineering services. The selected candidate will demonstrate the Boeing Behaviors, oversee the delivery of spares data generated for orders and proposals and collaborate with teammates across multiple disciplines.</p><p><p><b>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li><p>Reviews drawings, specifications, models, and other technical and engineering documentation to ensure the right configuration of spares can be fabricated and are delivered to the right customer on time</p></li><li><p>Reviews and develops bills of material (BOM)</p></li><li><p>Develops manufacturing planning</p></li><li><p>Resolves complex technical problems</p></li><li><p>Assists with technical projects, cost reduction initiatives, lean activities, and process improvements</p></li></ul><p><p><b>The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee</b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field</p></li><li><p>1+ years of experience inreading engineering blueprints/drawings</p></li><li><p>Experience in Manufacturing Engineering role</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience with the Apache program</p></li><li><p>Experience with the US Army customer</p></li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p><p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p>Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies</p><p><p><b>Shift:</b></p><p>This position is for 1st shift</p>
