<p><b>Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS)</b> is seeking a <b>Quality Manager</b> for their V-22 program in <b>Ridley Park, Pennsylvania </b></p><p><p>The successful candidate must have working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, a strong background in fabrication and assembly inspection, and working with a diverse team.</p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations. </li><li>Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance. </li><li>Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. </li><li>May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies. </li><li>Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. </li><li>Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.</li><li>Manages, develops and motivates employees.</li></ul><p><p><b>The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in inspection and quality oversight</li><li>5+ working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard</li><li>3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher</li><li>Experience managing/leading diverse teams</li><li>Experience with regulatory compliance</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
